Regular Access Self Storage Units
For regular access Appleyards have fully ventilated, ply lined, light action Roller Shutter Units, available in 3 different sizes and 2 different floors.
Their Smallest units are 35sq/ft, Medium size is 50 sq/ft and the largest roller shutter is 72 sq/ft, available with 24 hrs notice.
Each unit is secured by a padlock, which can be provided by Appleyards, or yourself, and the key can be kept free of charge, securely in the main office key cab should you wish for Appleyards to keep a set.
Roller Shutter Units on the ground floor also have enough space for vehicles to reverse and pull right up to, catering for lifting and carrying awkward and heavy items.

Internal Self Storage Units
Appleyard’s also have wooden internal units if regular access is not required, storage within a purpose built warehouse with full ventilation, avoiding any damp or condensation.
Wooden units are standard size, 7’2ft deep , 5’2ft wide, and 8ft tall, and clients can fill as many as they require.
With 24hrs notice units are booked down and situated in a convenient space for loading, the same as the roller shutter units, to allow removal vans to pull right up.
For Appleyards internal units no padlock is required due to how the units are stored.
Appleyyard's Self Storage process
Self Storage in Hull City Centre is different with each company, with different sized units, rooms and different payment terms. Appleyards have simplified their storage to make it simple and still efficient.
With 24hrs notice Appleyards can have the most suitable option of storage ready and available for loading.
Once roller Shutter units are checked over and internal units are placed in a loading bay, removal vans or cars can reverse or pull up to, clients have the full day to load, provided loading is finished by 5.00pm
Paper work and charges are all done after the loading to make sure you are only charged on what you have used/filled.
A payment of a Months storage and £25.00 deposit is then taken by cash or card, and clients receive a copy of the paper work including any T’s & C’s signed.
Storage with Appleyards is a rolling contract, and invoiced either Monthly, Quarterly, 6 Monthly, 9 Monthly or Yearly.
