Full Container shipments or Shared loads
Relocating overseas can be a stressful time; and it is recommended that Appleyards perform a pre move survey to determine the most cost effective way to ship your goods. Your furniture and effects can be shipped either in dedicated 20 or 40 foot containers which are shipped through to most major ports on both islands, with a groupage service for smaller shipments going in through Auckland or Wellington on the North Island or Lyttelton on the Southern Island.
Transit times
On average full container shipments can take between 6 to 8 weeks door to door with smaller shared loads taking around 8 to 14 weeks so planning in advance when moving from to New Zealand from East Yorkshire is key.
