Each year Appleyards of Hull try and support a different local charity and this year they have decided to support the Teenage Cancer Trust Hull . Every day seven young people are diagnosed with cancer and the work of the Trust means that they do not need to face dealing with cancer alone.
Locally The Teenage Cancer Trust Unit is based at Castle Hill Hospital, wards 32 and 33. It is for young adults aged 18 - 24 and encompasses a two bed bay, day & music room, quiet room and recreational area.
As well as making a donation to this charity Appleyards will also seek to raise awareness of The Teenage Cancer Trust Hull during 2015.
