Moving to Germany has traditionally been for military personnel or returning residents, but Germany is
now becoming one of the top three European countries to move to.  Sailing from the port of Hull, Appleyards are a local removal company who are best placed to carry out house moves to Germany. Using the local North Sea Ferry Service, moves across to Germany can be achieved with ease. covering deliveries to most areas to include Cologne, Frankfurt and Munich.

Big or Small

No matter if you just have a few selected items, or a full house, Appleyards of Hull can carry out your move, using our trained removal staff and specialised packing material.  Should you wish to pack your own boxes, we can supply various sizes and all can be purchased from our shop based on site.

Shared load or Specials

If you are flexible on the date you would like to receive your goods, we would suggest our shared load service.  Sharing a truck with other people can make huge savings and if you don’t have the volume to send over would be the preferred option.   Larger moves, and if your dates are paramount, then a special would be recommended.  Appleyards would send a truck with your goods alone. Shared or Specials, our trained staff would collect your goods and return them to our depot to be loaded onto a truck leaving for Germany.  The truck will be loaded back at our depot in Hull and then make its way direct to the Ferry. Simple moving!

Logistics of your move

Most moves to Germany are carried out on large removal trucks so it’s worth checking the access at your new property.  Do you need a parking permit?  Is delivery all on the ground floor or would we need an elevator to achieve delivery?  Do you have any snap shots of the access?  All can be very helpful and assist Appleyards to plan a trouble free move to your new residence.
