When you are looking to move home packing up your personal possessions is something that can be quite time consuming. It is therefore important that you choose the correct packing service. At Appleyard's we offer three different packing solutions for you to choose from.
Packed By Owner
This is where the customer undertakes to carry out the packing of all small items in the home that will fit in a box. Generally customers will use a mixture of boxes they already have, get passed by friends or seek to get them from the removal company. The latter is better than getting them off the internet as the boxes are generally far better for the purpose they are needed when supplied by a removal company.
Part Pack
This packing service removes the stress of packing all your breakable items such as china, glassware, pictures, mirrors, ornaments and lamps. These items are not only time consuming but also difficult to pack and if removers take this on board it can also help from an insurance angle. You would be expected to pack the remainder of all the non breakable items such as books, toys, clothing, tools etc.
Full Pack
This does what it says on the tin. You really can leave everything for us to pack and we will take things from cupboards and items off shelves and literally pack up the whole of your house so you dont need to do a thing.
Remember it is your responsibility to check that everything has been removed from every cupboard and no cupboards have been missed. You also need to consider unpacking as generally this is something most clients undertake themselves following a removal and just because a packing service has been provided this does not mean that an unpacking service will also be included as well.
