Customs Clearance in Northern Cyprus  

Normal custom clearance usually takes 5 to 10 clear working days but this can vary depending on government policy, x-raying or if a physical inspection is performed on your shipment. 

You will need to attend customs in person to complete the custom formalities in Nicosia (Lefkosa).

Top Tip When Moving To Northern Cyprus

Large Electrical items may be subject to custom duty and payment must be paid direct to customs in cash on the day so it’s worth ensuring you include this in your budget.

It is a normal practice in Turkish Cyprus that most deliveries are carried out to your residence on an evening so again worth ensuring you have adequate lighting outside your property so you can ensure all is off loaded and delivered into your property successfully
