If you have a larger flat screen TV then request a TV cover from your remover. These are a large quilted zip up bag that most TV;s will fit into. They have a padded interior that will give your TV the protection it needs. Equally your television could be export wrapped and then overcarded. This is a process often used when sending them overseas where the original packaging is not available.

Number any cables before you remove them and keep a simple plan of which cables went were so that when you come to reconnect your television you wont have a mass of wires that you dont know what goes where. Also pack all your cables and TV remotes together so that they can be easily identified.
