The "Odds Box" has been described as the most important box on any removal. Follow the simple steps below to help you have a hassle free move.
The Most Important Removal Box
There is nothing worse than arriving in your new home and then struggling to find the things you need to put things back together or the tools to do this once you have located the parts. By using an "Odds Box" during the pack up this will remove these issues altogether.
A little bit of thought when you are dismantling items will save you time during delivery. Keep some sandwich bags to hand and when you dismantle a bed or a wardrobe put all the relevant screws or handles etc into one bag only. Tape it up and label it so that you know which screws are for which item. Pop them in the "Odds Box" and also put into the box the tools you have used to do the job so they are readily to hand when the time comes.
Other things that can easily go astray are TV remotes and cables for electrical items, pop them in the box as well. Also any keys from cabinets. Its better in the box than taped to the back of a unit.
Things that you also might need to hand are plyers for washing machine pipes, radiator keys, a torch....and the kettle and teabags and coffee to keep the removal men happy.
