Hobbies & Interests
From leaving school Karen worked for a very large newspaper working and running the weekly entertainments page so had lots of opportunity to develop her organisation skills, but Karen’s first passion was entertaining, and from being young worked in the entertainment industry as a professional vocalist. Everything from being a Red coat at Butlins, to working for a large Holiday firm both here in the UK and the top hotels overseas, Karen entertained all nationalities. Working on the Viking Radio Road shows here in the UK, Karen’s hands on approach with the general public matured and her desire to work with the general public grew stronger.
Karen also loves to Garden and dance, and in her spare time loves nothing more than pottering around her garden and milling around the odd car boot sale on a weekend.
