Over the past 20 years Appleyards have performed many commercial moves but this week they have moved a client who quite literally kept "moving the goal posts" !
When the Hull City AFC Centre Of Excellence decided to relocate to new facilities at Bishop Burton they choose Appleyards to remove all their office furniture and effects as well as all their associated equipment. This included the dugouts, corner flags and the goal posts. The move was performed over two days using a large vehicle to accommodate the length of the regulation sized goals.
If you have never stood alongside a full sized goal you would be surprised at the width of them. At 24ft it is amazing how players cannot hit the target from the penalty spot.
