Every move is unique, and Appleyards of Hull can ensure your move is carried out with precision, professionally and with as little stress as possible.  Our expertise in packing and wrapping your goods from the UK to your chosen destination can be applied, and specialist packing with bespoke cases can be provided for your most precious items.  We would recommend a pre-move survey be carried out as early as possible to determine the requirements for your International relocation and to ensure we get things just right for you.  We would provide trained removal staff, who would carry out packing as required – either a full professional pack or just the fragile/breakable effects, or we can supply boxes if you require to pack selected items.  Groupage, or Dedicated container shipment can be offered, and the cost of your relocation based on the total volume you have to ship.

Transit Times for International Moves

When moving overseas transit times vary, and we would recommend you visit our dedicated country page to get an indication regarding transit times for your chosen country.  Transit times can vary, and can depend on the volumes to be shipped, bad weather, port congestion or Customs interference.  When moving internationally the estimated arrival date is always provided in good faith but at the mercy of third party operators so always best to leave a window for delivery if possible.

Restricted Items for Overseas shipments

When shipping overseas the common items not to include in your shipment are; Plants and plant materials, alcohol and tobacco, foodstuffs, perishables or otherwise, firearms and ammunition, inflammable goods and substances, narcotics, dangerous goods and indecent materials. If you are unsure about a selected item it is always best to check with our trained staff who can offer further information and assistance.

To ensure your move goes smoothly and without issue we would suggest you provide plenty of time to make sure we get all in place to allow a trouble free relocation.  Completion of the custom docs and to make certain you have the correct documents in place prior to the shipment is vital.
