"Dear Andy,
The Promotion Company is a well- established business in the Hull area and prides itself on loyal relationships with clients. This is something we hope to benefit from when buying services or products as customers too and with Andy Dickerson and his team at Appleyard’s, East Yorkshire, we were not disappointed.
Although you hear often that moving to a new house is one of the most stressful times, until I recently went through it, I really had no idea how stressful it could be. The hardest part for me was having no control about what was happening and being totally reliant on others. Moving your home is like a jigsaw puzzle, you need lots of pieces to fit together for it to work and if some of the pieces are not fitting then it gets very difficult.
A personal thank you to Andy who was in very regular contact for updates on progress. He would provisionally book us a moving date but with no guarantees it would happen. Obviously, this impacts on his business as I am sure there were many clients experiencing similar issues, and to manage that I am sure must be difficult. Andy at no time made me feel uncomfortable when there were constant changes and only ever expressed full support and reassurance.
Not only did we benefit from the excellent service for our move, Appleyard’s also stored furniture, pending the eventual move.
The move from our old house into storage went like clockwork, even to the point I could go to the gym on the day! John and Mark were competent, organised, friendly and importantly very careful with our furniture.
It was three months later when we finally got to move into our new home, when Scott and Jacob from Appleyard’s were a complete credit not only to your company Andy but to their generation. They were polite, sensitive, very helpful and hardworking.
I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Andy and Appleyard’s of East Yorkshire, who helped me through at the risk of being dramatic, quite a traumatic time. A heartfelt thank you from me!
Kindest Regards,
Angela Oldroyd
